“ Honestly can say this has been the best meal whilst on holiday here. Never had Japanese but thanks to the lady outside explaining what was in the dishes won us over. Lovely friendly place with a vast amount of dishes for every palette. Definitely returning here. Food was quick to prepare and hot to eat. Cooked to perfection. Very clean and bright restaurant. ”

“ Great place for japanese food. Everything was so fresh and tasty. We visited a few times, and had the set menus and also just picked from the menu as well. The set menu is great value with a glass of wine included. The service is very friendly and helpful too. The duck is amazing, the miso soup, seaweed salad and spring rolls delicious, the salmon and avocado sushi excellent, the pudding and wine were great. Didn't get photos of everything as the food was so hood it was gone in no time! Nothing to complain about at all. I just don't understand why this place isn't fully booked all the time. The locals gave a steady takeaway stream via local deliveroos each night, so they do know a good thing when they see it!! If you like Japanese food or have never tried it before, definitely worth a visit here! We will be back again. ”
“ Very good food, worth it 100/100 but the service could be better. I meant they are trying but they are not that professional and that's why there isn't much customers. A little advice and feedback that could help :Try to be more friendly, confident, offer aperitive... The restaurant next doors doesn't have that tasty kitchen but they more friendly, they offerer aperitive, they profesional, even they offered me a liqueur after I finished the food. Please hire new staff ”
“ Probably the best sushi we have found on the island. The traditional table made the experience special, the sushi was fresh and delicious, and the wakame seaweed salad was amazing. Highly recommended. Update 28/08/2025 We came back to the restaurant and the service was truly magnificent. It seems that last time may just have been an off day. This time everything went smoothly and we were very well looked after. Our server, Chengyu, was extremely kind and attentive, which made the whole experience even better. On top of that, Lucas kindly returned my son’s AirPods that he had forgotten on our previous visit – we didn’t even realise we had lost them. Such a thoughtful gesture that really shows how much they care about their guests. ”
“ Hands down, great sushi/sashimi here. Tempura on the other hand wasn't quite as good.... tasted like deep fried batter and not the lighter Japanese style usually used for this dish. That said I suspect the Chinese restaurant next door might have some involvement here too as found the wait-staff not understanding the Japanese name of the dishes rather preferring using the numbers! The staff however were relatively attentive and food served promptly. I think it's worth coming back for the sushi. ”
